Welcome to the Washington State Alliance

Welcome to the WA State Alliance for Retired Americans Educational Fund (WSARA-EF)’s new website. It’s an exciting part of restructuring our organization as a C4 political, non-profit organization.

Our purpose is to create a statewide network of organizations that educate and inform the membership, public, and elected officials about issues important to seniors. We are focused on key issues for seniors including Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Pensions, Health Care, Housing.

Retirement security for Washingtonians is under threat as nearly 50% do not have access to any kind of retirement savings vehicle, and we need your help to address it now.  The Washington State Alliance for Retired Americans is working to bring all union retirees, senior community groups and individual seniors together to work on these issues.

But it is also important, now more than ever, to build a bridge between retirees and those workers moving toward retirement. Therefore, we welcome and encourage everyone’s support of the legislative efforts of our organization, to ensure that retirees and all seniors in our state stay involved and active in the labor movement.
