2017 Convention

OUR ISSUES – OUR FIGHT!

This is the theme for our convention and the foundation for WSARA’s activities this year. Washington state’s seniors are ready for action to not just resist attacks on these vital programs but also to improve them. Confirmed speakers include Alliance for Retired Americans President Robert Roach and Executive Director Rich Fiesta, who will provide an update on our national organization and federal legislation impacting retirees. From the State Insurance Commissioner’s Office, Deputy Commissioner AnnaLisa Gellerman will also speak.

Affiliates wishing to submit a proposed amendment to the Bylaws must submit it in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to the convention. The number of delegates that each affiliate or Community Advocacy Network (CAN) members are entitled to is provided for in the By-laws.
